Count Down to Cougar Dash!
Our Cougar Dash Fundraiser assembly is Friday, September 6th, and the run is scheduled for Friday, September 13th. This is one of our largest fundraiser of the year and we need your help to make it successful!
We are asking each student to set a fundraising goal of $100 in order to reach our $55,000 school fundraising goal.
What is the Cougar Dash?
The Cougar Dash is an all-school fun-run and fundraiser. On run day, students will run as many laps as possible in 30 minutes around a 1/16th mile track. Students will run with only their grade level, and most students will complete about 25-30 laps. This is a really fun day for the kids - we’ll have a DJ playing fun music and parents are invited to cheer on their kids. Prior to the run, students will request donations from family and friends, as either a dollar amount per lap or a flat donation. Students compete on an individual and class level to earn rewards based on how many laps they run and how much money they raise.

Parent Volunteers needed for Popcorn Fridays!
Volunteers will help pop/bag the fresh popcorn outside the school starting at 1:30, and then sell to the kids at 2:45 at locations around the school. All should be done and cleaned up by 3:15 (if not earlier).

Year-Round School Sponsorships
Do you own a business or practice you would like to promote? We are excited to bring back year-round school sponsorships at Cottonwood! This is a great opportunity to promote your business while supporting our school and community. We will be offering company logos on our Cougar Dash T-shirts that will be distributed to each student along with company logos on a banner to be displayed along Orchard Road. Celebrate your student's or staff member's birthday or half-birthday with a special shout-out! The PTO will be offering a birthday shout-out on the Cottonwood digital marquee in front of our school! The birthday message will say "Happy Birthday (first name)." Click here for more details!
