Co-President: Annie Larkin


Hi, my name is Annie Larkin and I’m the Co-President this year. I have two boys who attend Cottonwood Creek - Ronan is in 3rd Grade and Cormac just started 1st grade. I have been an educator for the past 17 years and currently serve as an elementary school principal. Community engagement is vital to a school’s success and I look forward to serving the Cottonwood community! During my free time I enjoy running with my dogs on the Cherry Creek trails and you can typically find me on the baseball fields cheering on my boys. Co-President: Lindsey Sousa


I am excited to serve as your PTO Co-President this year. I have a son Grayson in 1st Grade and a son Andrew entering Campus Middle. My philosophy is “the more the merrier” and I look forward to engaging with our community in PTO activities and events to support our amazing school, leadership, teachers and students. Our family keeps busy with kiddo sports, enjoying the outdoors both summer and winter, and visiting family back east. Professionally I am a Regional lead at AECOM, an international engineering firm.



Co-Vice President: Lydia Miller


Thank you for the opportunity to serve as PTO Co-Vice President this year. My family and I are passionate about Cottonwood Creek, and we enjoy serving our community. My son Austin is in 4th grade, my son Baylor is in 3rd grade, my daughter Lydy is in 2nd grade, and my son Tippy is 3 years old. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, snorkeling, swimming, painting, hiking, and cheering for my children in all of their activities. As a profession, I am an Attorney Recruiter for the law firm Holland & Hart. Please feel free to reach out, as I am here to support you!



  Co-Vice President: Julie Levenson


Hi, I am Julie Levenson and I am so excited to be your PTO CO-VP this year.  I have two daughters at Cottonwood, Ally is in the 3rd grade and Ryla is in 1st.  Both my girls are soccer-playing gymnasts, and I enjoy cheering them on as they find their passions in life.  Originally from Baltimore, I've been in Colorado since 2008.  During the day I work as a Federal Contractor and been working as a civilian throughout the Federal Government for the last 25 years.   I joined the PTO as a way to give back to our wonderful welcoming community and am excited to start this new adventure.   Please reach out with all your ideas to help us make 2022/2023 the most successful year ever!




Co-Treasurer: Sohee Yoo


Hi, my name is Sohee!  I have a 2nd grader and Kindergartner this year.  I am a true Coloradan for almost 30 years who loves hiking in the summer and skiing with the family in the winter.  During my free time I love playing piano (I teach it, too) and spending quality time with my kids. I look forward to meeting more of the community in my new role as Treasurer.



Co-Treasurer: Rika McGowan


Hello, I'm Rika McGowan and I'm excited to serve as PTO Co-Treasurer this year. I have three daughters; Olive is entering 3rd grade, Anri is in preschool, and Kona is furry and spends all day on the couch. I'm originally from Japan and have lived in Hawaii and Los Angeles before moving to Colorado in 2019. Our family enjoys camping, skiing, and visiting family in Tokyo and New York. While in Los Angeles, I worked as Director of an accounting firm. Currently, I work for my daughters and enjoy every moment of it. I look forward to meeting new faces and serving our school and community. 



Co-Secretary: Alice Schubert


 Hi, I’m Alice! I’m originally from New Mexico and have lived in Colorado for 17 years. We have a 3rd grader and a 7th grader. You can usually find me working on some sort of art project or playing/watching sports. I love finding new breweries and cherish my weekly hikes with friends. 



 Co-Secretary: Shayla Brubaker


 I am excited to serve as a PTO Co-Secretary this year. I have a daughter, Emry, in 3rd grade, and a daughter, Brenna, moving up to Campus MS. I am a former educator (3rd Grade Teacher and Elementary School Dean) with a passion for supporting education.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, reading, interior design/organization, traveling, and supporting all my kids’ hobbies. 



  Co-Ways & Means: Anjanette Steadman


   Anjanette Steadman is a Ways and Means Chair.  She is proud to be part of Cottonwood Creek Elementary

   School.  She is passionate about improving our community and our children’s education. Anjanette has two kids at Cottonwood, a 4th grader, and a 1st grader.  Anjanette and her family enjoy tennis, running, mountain getaways, family walks, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Professionally, Anjanette has been a Cardiovascular Researcher and a Research Sales Representative. Currently, Anjanette is enjoying her time as an aesthetic nurse injector. 



 Co-Ways & Means: Laura Marturano


Laura Marturano has 3 kids at Cottonwood in grades Kindergarten, 1st and 5th.  Her and her family are native to Colorado and love everything it has to offer.  She enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, tennis and spending time with friends and family.  Professionally Laura taught in the Cherry Creek district for 10 years and will be joining the teaching team at DU in the fall.  She loves Cottonwood Creek and can’t wait to be a part of Ways and Means.
