"Chalk the Walk" & Decorate School's Exterior Doors on Sunday, 5/5
Bring your students and families to school on Sunday, May 5th to “Chalk the Walk” and decorate the school's exterior doors for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. Families can show up any time on Sunday, 5/5 to chalk the sidewalks with encouraging messages for Teachers and Staff. Please sign up HERE to decorate the exterior doors. Join us on Fridays for fresh popcorn and water, which will be available for $1 each after school in front of the school (inside if the weather is too wet or cold). Money raised will go to the PTO to help fund educational programming for our students. Popcorn Friday will happen every Friday through the end of the school year (except 5/3 and 5/17).

Free Book Fair Coming Soon
We are excited to announce that Cottonwood will be having a Free Book Fair in the spring! We need your help: If you have books in good condition that your family is finished with, please consider donating them for the fair. We will be accepting books from pre-k through middle school level, in any genre, fiction or nonfiction. Both picture books and chapter books are welcome. This is the perfect time to clean off your bookshelf and make room for some new reads. Just bring the books to the front office and let them know they're for the book fair. 5th Grade Continuation Celebrations
Parents and family of 5th Graders, please Save-the-Date for Thursday, May 23rd for the 5th Grade Continuation and Pool Party. The Continuation ceremonies will be held during school hours, with the traditional pool party being held Thursday evening. A truly special day celebrating the end of elementary school for Cottonwood Creek's Class of 2031.
